POKRES-BLAUWKAMP

Allyson Michelle Pokres, daughter of Dennis and Ellen Pokres of Chesterfield, and Çhris Anthony Blauwkamp, son of Len and Carrie Blauwkamp of Grand Rapids, Mich., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of late Albert and late Yetta Cohen and Martin and Mollie Pokres of Creve Coeur.

He is the grandson of Tony and the late Janet Blauwkamp and Clarence and Jenny Van Veen of Wyoming, Mich. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central and Washington University Law School where she earned a Juris Doctor degree in Law.

She is currently Presidential Management Fellow at the Department of Homeland Security.

Her fiance is a graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High School and Washington University Law School where he earned a Juris Doctor degree in law. He is currently a German Document Specialist with Special Counsel. An October, 2009 wedding is planned.

HOFFMAN-PEREZ

Lindsay Ross Hoffman, daughter of Robert and Susan Hoffman of Chesterfield, and Christopher Robert Perez, son of Robert and Janice Perez of Ann Arbor, Mich., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Henry D. Ross and the late Shirley Ross and Gay Hirsch of St. Louis and the late Margie and Orren Hoffman of Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is the grandson of Maureen and John Levens of Ann Arbor, Mich.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central and Indiana University where she earned a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration. She is currently a carrier sales representative at CH Robinson in Chicago.

Her fiance is a graduate of Indiana University where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in history and Italian. He is currently sales associate at Real Time Freight in Chicago.

A June, 2009 wedding is planned.

SCHOLEY-BRUCE

James Bruce, son of Donna and Mark Waldman of St. Louis, and Collin Bruce of Santa Clara, Calif. and Skaidra Scholey, daughter of Hunter Fales and Christine Scholey of Coos Bay, Ore., were married on December 1 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

He is the grandson of Kenneth and Jeane Heller and Joan Waldman.

The bride is a recent graduate in Asian Studies from the University of Hawaii. James serves in the United States Coast Guard in Honolulu. They will celebrate their marriage with family and friends in Coos Bay on June 28, 2009.

The couple resides in Honolulu.
