BASTA-CHOD

Emileigh Jane Basta, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Edward Basta of Ballwin, Mo., and Jeffrey Edward Chod, son of Dr. Robert Chod of Delray Beach, Fla., and Ms. Jo VanDyck of Juno Beach, Fla., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Knapp of St. Louis and Ms. Lois Basta of Chesterfield and the late Sam Basta. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Chod of Clayton and Mr. and Mrs. Rowland Smith of Ocala, Fla.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Marquette and Missouri State University where she earned a B.S. degree in accounting. She is currently a tax associate with Pricewater HouseCoopers LLP. Her fiance is a graduate of Cherry Creek High School in Denver, Col., and University of Colorado where he earned a B.A. degree in psychology. He is currently an attorney with Rathmann and O’Brien LLC.

A November wedding is planned.

FLEO-ANTWEIL

Anna Marie Fleo, daughter of Colleen and Tony Fleo of Dallas, Tex., and Benjamin Jamieson Antweil, son of Joni and Jarrell Antweil of St. Louis, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Beatrice and Anthony Fleo of New Castle, Penn., and the late John W. Harkins of Pittsburg, Penn.

He is the grandson of the late Sylvia Jamieson Shapiro and Hy Shapiro and the late Harry Jamieson, all of St. Louis and the late Anna and Ben Antweil of Longview, Tex., and Palm Beach, Fla.

The bride-to-be graduated from the University of Texas in Austin where she earned a B.S. degree in corporate communication. She is currently a program manager at Personnel Decisions International in Dallas.

The groom-to-be graduated from the University of Texas in Austin where he earned a B.S. degree in corporate communication and business foundations. He is an account manager at Forrester Research, Inc., in Dallas.

The couple became engaged in Aruba. Following a November 2007 wedding, they will honeymoon in Fiji and Australia.

Prywiths celebrate 50 years

Shirley and Marvin Prywith celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 11, 2007 at Meadowbrook Country Club with their children, Richard (Audrey) Prywith, Dr. Brett (Lynne) Prywith and their grandchildren, Randy, Lauren, Jamie, Danny and Scott.

To further celebrate, in May the couple will tour Paris and London and return home on a six-day North Atlantic cruise aboard the Queen Mary 2.
