Jessica Erin Tilson, daughter of Bonnie Tilson and Barry Tilson (of blessed memory) of Chesterfield, and Dr. Andrew Brian Kichura, son of Dr. George Kichura and Michelle Kichura of Chesterfield, have announced their engagement. 

She is the granddaughter of Selma Schumitzky and the late Sol Schumitzky of St. Louis, and the late Adele Tilson and the late Jack Tilson of Dayton, Ohio. 

He is the grandson of Doris and Glenn Fischer of Chesterfield and the late Mary Kichura and the late Peter Kichura of Brooklyn, N.Y. 

The bride-to-be earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and her Early Childhood Certificate from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and her master’s degree in the teaching of reading from Fontbonne University. She is currently a teacher. 

Her fiancé earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University, and his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He is currently an internal medicine resident physician at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and will be 2015-2016 chief resident of internal medicine. 

A June, 2015 wedding is planned.
