Sally Elizabeth Spector, daughter of Lynn and Michael Spector of Chesterfield, and Daniel Brett Ginsburg, son of Rhonda and Scott Ginsburg of Northbrook, Ill. have announced their engagement. 

She is the granddaughter of Jack Shapiro and the late Ruth Shapiro, Renee and Reuben Goodman and the late Robert Spector of St. Louis. He is the grandson of Helene and Lennard Becker and Gloria and Howard Ginsburg of Chicago. 

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in speech-language and hearing sciences from the University of Kansas, and a master’s of science in speech-language pathology from Rockhurst University. She is a speech-language pathologist at Advocate Hospital in Chicago.  Her fiancé is a graduate of Glenbrook South High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology at the University of Kansas. He is a mortgage loan officer at J.P.Morgan Chase in Chicago. A May, 2014 wedding in St. Louis is planned.
