Sara Lizabeth Sitzer, daughter of Bill and Kathleen Sitzer of St. Louis, and Richard John Evans, son of Michael and Sybil Evans of Issaquah, Wash. were married June 5, 2010 at the Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park in St. Louis, where Rabbi Susan Talve officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the Piper Palm House.

The bride is a graduate of Clayton High School, Boston University, for her bachelor’s degree in music, and the University of Wisconsin – Madison for her master’s degree in music. She is currently a cellist for the New World Symphony in Miami.

The groom is a graduate of Issaquah High School in Issaquah, Wash. and a graduate of Boston University. He is currently a cello teacher at Rockford Community Music School.

The bride chose Tomoko Deeney of Boston, as her bridesmaid. The groom chose Edward Evans of Los Angeles as his groomsman.

They had their honeymoon in Umbria, Italy.
