Schneider-Rose Wedding

Deborah Elise Schneider and Eric David Rose were married Oct. 17, 2020 in San Francisco.
Deborah is the daughter of Deanna Schneider and the late Mel Schneider of St. Louis, and the granddaughter of the late Gene and Sylvia Weissman, and the late Hascal and Gussie Schneider, all of St. Louis.
Eric is the son of Bob Rose and the late Nancy Rose of Hartford, Conn. He is the grandson of the late Theodore and Belle Rose, and the late Ellis and Dora Rosenberg, all of Washington, D.C.
The officiant, St. Louis native Gary Belsky, is an award-winning author who got his start by writing at the Jewish Light. Belsky was Deborah’s Hebrew school teacher in 1982 and 1983. They have remained friends ever since and even co-authored a book titled “Should You Really Be A Lawyer? The Guide to Smart Career Choices Before, During and After Law School.”
Members of the wedding party included Stella Rose (flower girl and daughter of the groom), Jackson Rose (photographer and son of the groom), and good friends Jennifer Epstein, Erika Malzberg, Robin Beers, Kirsten Mahoney, Susie Smith, Will Getter and John Fawcett. The ring bearers were Susie Smith and Kirsten Mahoney, friends of the bride and groom.
Pre-pandemic, the couple planned to take a wedding trip to Bali. Now they are going to Indian Springs Spa & Resort in Napa Valley.
