Jamie Schlansky, daughter of Steven and Mindy Schlansky of St. Louis, and Curtis Evans, son of Peter Evans and Leigh Fitzpatrick of Austin, Texas, have announced their engagement.

Jamie is the granddaughter of Neal and Aralyn Rosenberg of St. Louis, and the late Dr. Seymour and the late Siril Schlansky of St. Louis. Curtis is the grandson of Harry and Eleanor Evans of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and the late Patricia Evans; Taylor Fitzpatrick of Arnprior, Ontario; and Audrey Whitfield of Nepean, Ontario.

Jamie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/creative writing from Emory University and went on to complete the Columbia Publishing Course in New York City. She worked for two years in book publishing before becoming an editor in Atlanta. Her fiancé earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech and is employed as a software engineer with NCR in Atlanta.

An October 2017 wedding is planned.
