Heather Ilene Saltzman, daughter of Marilyn and Leo Saltzman of Ballwin, and Jacob Meyer Lampert, son of Tina and Lawrence Lampert of Olivette, have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of the late Ruth Hartman of St. Louis and Selma and the late William Saltzman of St. Louis. He is the grandson of the late Fay and the late Nathan Lampert of St. Louis and the late Sarah and the late Milton Lapin of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway West High School and Indiana University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing and Lindenwood University, where she earned a master’s degree in education. She is currently a teacher in the Rockwood School District.

Her fianc é is a graduate of Ladue High School and the University of Missouri, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in education and Valparaiso University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. He is currently a ticket broker.

A June, 2010 wedding is planned.
