SACHS-KAUFFMAN ENGAGEMENT

Keren Beth Sachs, of New York, daughter of Marlene and Harvey Sachs of St. Louis, and Landis Kauffman, of New York, son of Ken and Charlee Kauffman of Lancaster, Penn. have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Marjorie Jeanne Becker of St. Louis, the late Daniel Becker and the late Ben and Nellie Sachs of St. Louis. He is the grandson of the late Charles and Thelma Myers and the late Dosha and Alfred Kauffman, of Pennsylvania. 

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School and the University of Michigan, where she earned her BFA in photography and B.A. in American culture. She earned her master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. She is currently senior manager of image acquisition at Shutterstock.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Gilman School in Baltimore, Md. He earned his BFA in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University and his MFA in furniture design from Rhode Island School of Design. He is currently project manager of store planning for Louis Vuitton.

They met when they were both working for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia in New York. An April, 2012 wedding is planned.
