Joanna King Rosenthal, daughter of Dr. Debra and Mr. Robert Rosenthal of University City, and Glenda and Al Wiman of St. Louis and Ian Riekes Trivers, son of Linda Riekes and Robert Koff of St. Louis and Andrew and Kellie Trivers of St. Louis, have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School, a 2002 graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where she received her B.S. and a 2006 graduate of Tulane University, where she received her master’s degree in social work. She is currently a social worker in New Orleans.

Her fiancé is a 1994 graduate of Crossroads High School, received his bachelor’s degree in 1998 from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. and received his master’s degree in urban planning in 2006 from the University of Southern California. In 2008 he was a Rockefeller Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania for urban planning. He is currently employed in urban planning and redevelopment in New Orleans.

An April, 2011 wedding is planned at the Broussard’s Restaurant Courtyard in New Orleans.
