Robbins-Babitz Wedding

Diana Brooke Robbins, daughter of Alan Robbins and Marla Robbins of St. Louis, and Andrew Flotken Babitz, son of Bryan Babitz and Judy Babitz of St. Louis, were married June 16, 2013 at the Doubletree Hotel in Chesterfield, where Rabbi Brigitte Rosenberg, Rabbi Howard Kaplansky and Cantor Ronald Eichaker officiated. 

She is the granddaughter of Bernice Fidelholtz and the late Irving Fidelholtz of Canton, Ohio, Norman Hosansky and the late Gladys Hosansky of Columbus, Ohio and Ira and Shirley Robbins of Richmond, Va. He is the grandson of the late Frank and the late Carol Flotken of St. Louis and Fred and Marilyn Babitz of Boynton Beach, Fla. 

The bride chose her sister, Alison Dieckhaus, as matron of honor. The bride’s friends, Lindsay Itzkowitz, Jennifer Pasteris and Jessica Conick, and the groom’s sister, Amy Babitz, served as bridesmaids. The groom’s cousins, Taylor and Morgan Flotken, served as flower girls. The groom chose his brother, Danny Babitz, as best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother, Joe Babitz, and friends Jeffrey Spector, Joel Hopwood and Aaron Arneson. Ushers were J.J. Flotken, Ben Flotken, Jimmy Flotken, cousins of the groom, and Rick Dieckhaus, brother-in-law of the bride. The ring bearers were the groom’s cousins, Maxwell and Carson Crane.

The couple met at the YPD Kickoff Event in 2011 called “Oy Vegas.” When he proposed, Andy surprised Diana by sending a Rolls Royce to pick her up and bring her to Stacy Park, where he was waiting with a red carpet lined with rose petals. Following a wedding trip to Secrets Maroma Beach, Riviera Cancun, the couple resides in St. Louis.
