Amy Elizabeth Present, daughter of Nancy and Larry Present of St. Louis, and Anson Cerf Switzer, son of Linda and Dave Garner of Dallas, Texas, and Sam Switzer of Orlando, Fla., have announced their engagement. 

Amy is the granddaughter of Phillip Mariam and the late Francine Mariam of St. Louis, and the late Manuel and the late Helene Present.

Anson is the grandson of the late Shirley and the late Ben Switzer, and the late James and the late Marjorie Cerf.

The bride-to-be is currently a brand manager/designer of bedding at Pem America.  Amy earned her bachelor of fine arts degree in textile design at the University of Kansas.

The groom-to-be is currently a director of investor relations at Next Health.  Anson earned a bachelor of government degree at the University of Texas.

The couple met through mutual friends and got engaged in their home and celebrated with family and friends throughout the weekend.

A May 2016 wedding is planned.
