Amanda Beth Pollock, daughter of Jeffry and Fran Pollock of Chesterfield, and Brent Samuel Shulman, son of Mark and Robin Shulman of Creve Coeur, have announced their engagement.

Amanda is the granddaughter of the late Herman and the late Doris Stern and the late Shirley Trockman Pollock and the late Paul Pollock.

Brent is the grandson of the late Samuel and the late Blanche Shulman and the late Max and the late Ruth Berman.

The bride-to-be graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology.  She received a master’s of science degree in occupational therapy from Washington University School of Medicine. Amanda is currently an occupational therapist for SSM Day Institute.

The groom-to-be graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in sport communication-broadcast.  He is currently the director of marketing and communications for the St. Louis Sports Commission.  Brent is also an adjunct professor at Webster University.

A September 2016 wedding is planned.
