Lenore and Eddie Pepper are celebrating their 65^th anniversary. They started dating in high school at University City High School. In December, after Lenore graduated high school, Eddie proposed and they were married the following July 26, 1953 at Shaare Zedek.

On the night of their wedding, the Korean War ended and everyone was wild with happiness. Lenore and Eddie’s children are Mark Pepper of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Karen (William) Jacoby and Michael (Julie) Pepper of St. Louis. They have five grandchildren. Both Lenore and Eddie continue to work in the family business, Edwin Pepper Interiors, which just relocated to Creve Coeur. They love their customers, the employees and the companies they do business with.

Lenore and Eddie recently asked each other if they would do it all over again and they both said absolutely. “We’ve had a great life together.” Lenore then asked Eddie if he would change anything and he said not a thing. The Peppers are planning a special family celebration.
