Pamela Joy (Inger) Katz and Stuart Katz are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple, who live in Chesterfield, married on Sept. 7, 1969 at the Tiara Room of the Chase-Park Plaza.

They have two sons, Randall Aaron (Sara) Katz and Joshua Daniel (Erica) Katz, and four grandchildren.

The family will be celebrating together at Sandals Resort in the Turks and Caicos Island. Pam and Stu shared an aunt and uncle. Pam’s father’s sister married Stu’s mother’s brother. This set of aunt and uncle nudged Pam and Stu to go out on a date together since they attended Brittany Jr. High School in University City. Pam and Stu did not start dating until their junior year in college. They have lived in St. Louis, Sugarland and San Antonio, Texas.

Pam is a systems analyst and Stu is a retired marketing director for AT&T.
