Wendy Leah Niedelman, daughter of Jay and Susan Niedelman of East Windsor, N.J. and David Joel Roberts, son of Mark and Gloria Roberts of Chesterfield, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Irwin and Renee Leff of Coram, N.Y. and the late Sidney and Lillian Niedelman. He is the grandson of Paul and Reva Roberts of Memphis, Tenn. and the late Nat and Dorothy Perel.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hightstown High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, where she majored in biology and psychology. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in biology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, where he majored in computer science. He currently is employed with Accenture.

A June, 2012 wedding is planned.
