Sarah Miller, daughter of Melissa and Greg Miller of Highland Park, Ill., and Andrew Pernikoff, son of Debbie and Jeffrey Pernikoff of St. Louis, have announced their engagement. 

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Marnie and the late Jerry Miller of Highland Park, and Joan and Nathan Miller of Indianapolis. Her fiancé is the grandson of the late Regina and the late Irvin Pernikoff, and Charlotte Wolff and the late Richard Wolff, all of St. Louis.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Indiana University. She is currently a high school English teacher in Chicago. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Indiana University. He is currently an account manager for Wolters Kluwer in Chicago.

The couple became engaged on a picturesque summer day at Millennium Park in Chicago.

A July, 2017 wedding is planned.
