Lindsey Renee Mielziner, daughter of Gail and Robert Mielziner Jr. of St. Louis, and Matthew Evan Bronstein, son of Norma and Alan Bronstein of Merrick, N.Y., have announced their engagement. 

Lindsey is the granddaughter of the late Lorraine and the late Harry Robin, and the late Sara and the late Robert Mielziner, all of St. Louis. Matthew is the grandson of the late Mildred and the late David Bronstein, and the late Kate and the late Sylvin Weinreb, all of of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The bride-to-be, a Parkway Central High School graduate, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and gender and women’s studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. She is currently an attorney in the Trusts and Estates Department of Emmet, Marvin & Martin, LLP in New York City.

Her fiancé earned a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine. He is currently a fourth-year surgical resident at New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center.

The couple met in the summer of 2013 in Fire Island, N.Y.

An October 2018 wedding is planned.
