Chantal Mailhot, daughter of Valerie Yeager of Helotes, Texas, and Adam Micah Block, son of the late Alan Barry and the late Linda Block, were married December 29, 2012 at the Four Seasons in St. Louis, with officiant Cory Block.

Chantal and Adam met while attending Tulane University in New Orleans, and ended up in the same car while evacuating from Hurricane Ivan. Little did the two know they would end up together forever.

Adam and Chantal had been together for almost eight years before Adam popped the big question. Adam wanted the proposal to be perfect and reenact their first date together. He decorated their porch and even brought in all the same food that they ordered just the first time eating together.

The proposal was perfect and even brought Chantal to tears. The couple resides in St. Louis.
