Danielle Julia Hirschfeld, daughter of Adrienne and Mark Hirschfeld of Ladue, and Steven Michael Lerner, son of Debbie and Robert Lerner of Binghamton, N.Y. have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Saul Nadler, the late Richard Hirschfeld and the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Moscowitz.

He is the grandson of Judge and Mrs. Jerome Lerner of Northbrook, Ill. and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Selan of Binghamton.

The bride-to-be graduated with honors from American University in 2005 with a B.A. degree in psychology. She is a project manager in the Psychology Department at the University of Chicago.

Her fiancé graduated from Nichols College in 2005 with a B.S. degree in accounting and finance. He is currently a financial analyst with Hudson Highland in Chicago.

The couple is planning a spring 2011 wedding.
