Emily Sarah Kline, daughter of Linda Gartenberg Kline of St. Louis, and Lee Kline of St. Louis, and Edward Scott Cherry, son of Robyn and Don Cherry of Town and Country, have announced their engagement.

Emily is the granddaughter of the late Joyce Gartenberg and late William Gartenberg of St. Louis, and Lynn and Robert Kline of Memphis, Tenn.

Edward is the grandson of Norma and Marvin Cherry of St. Louis, and Harriet and Jack Dickson of Delray Beach, Fla., and the late Nadene Dickson.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in communications at American University and bachelor of science degree in nursing from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College. She is currently a registered nurse at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

The groom-to-be studied finance and real estate at the University of Missouri – Columbia.  He is a leasing and development representative at The Staenberg Group, a St. Louis-based commercial real estate firm.

An October, 2016 wedding is planned.
