Amy Klearman and Derek Rinehart were married Sept. 29, 2020 at the Denver Courthouse, with a small ceremony after. 

Amy is the daughter of Julie Krumholz McPhail of Denver and Jeffrey Klearman of St. Louis. She is the granddaughter of Gay Kornblum of St. Louis.

Derek is the son of Diane Jacobson of Rockford, Ill., Brian Jacobson of Rockford, Ill., and George Rinehart of Freeport, Ill.

Derek proposed to Amy in Ireland on the Kilkee Cliffs. “It was gorgeous and a moment I will never forget,” Amy said.

Amy’s stepfather, Clay McPhail, officiated at the wedding. Most of the wedding party did not attend due to COVID-19 but Amy said the couple still had a very special day with the people who could be there.

The couple honeymooned by taking a road trip to Orlando. The couple resides in Denver.
