Emily Kalmes, daughter of Marcy Kalmes and the late Elliot Kalmes, and Nathan Chambers, son of Paul and  Ann Chambers of Marian, Va. have announced their engagement.

Emily is the granddaughter of the late Meyer and Beverly Cohen and the late Phillip and Blanche Kalmes. Nathan is the grandson of Curt and Jackie McSherry of Toano, Va., and Richard and the late Marian Green of Castle, Pa.

The bride-to-be graduated from Ladue Horton Watkins High School and received a bachelor’s degree in sports communication from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. She is currently an associate with Busey Bank. Her fiancé graduated from Marion Senior High School in Marion, Va., and received a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering from Virginia Tech. He currently works as a computer engineer at All Covered in St. Louis.

A March 2019 wedding is planned.
