Rebecca Kaiser, daughter of Joni and Bob Kaiser of Olivette, and Yehuda Bromberg, son of Michele and Leo Bromberg of Skokie, Ill., have announced their engagement.

Rebecca is the granddaughter of Carolyn Koppel of St. Louis, Sylvia and Martin Mintzer of Houston, and Eleanor and the late Lionel Kaiser of Chesterfield.

Yehuda is the grandson of Blanche and the late Fred Simon of Skokie, and the late Morris and Gertrude Bromberg of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Ladue Hortkin Watkins High School and Loyola University Chicago, where she earned a bachelor of science in psychology. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in social work at the University of Chicago School of Service Administration. 

Her fiancé is a graduate of Ida Crown Jewish Academy in Skokie, and is currently studying nursing at Loyola University Chicago.

Rebecca and Yehuda met at an NCSY Shabbaton when they were 15 years old.

An August, 2017 wedding is planned.
