Alyson Kahn, daughter of Marci and Robert Kahn of Chesterfield, and Alexander Harper, son of Suzan and James Harper of Clayton, have announced their engagement.

Alyson is the granddaughter of Phylis and Gene Kahn of Creve Coeur and Betty and the late Paul Seligsohn of Chesterfield. Alexander is the grandson of the late Adelaide Katz and Louis Katz and the late Evelyn and Bill Harper.

The bride-to-be earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Missouri. She is currently a financial advisor at Edward Jones. Her fiancé earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering at the University of Missouri. He is currently a software engineer at Radialogica.

A Sept. 2, 2017 wedding is planned.
