Emily Megan Kahn of Chesterfield and Kansas City, Mo., daughter of Marci and Robert Kahn of Chesterfield, and Kevin William Gray of Lee’s Summit and Kansas City, Mo., son of Cathy Billington of Lee’s Summit, and Marge and Charles Gray of Pueblo, Colo. have announced their engagement. 

She is the granddaughter of Phylis and Eugene Kahn of Creve Coeur and Betty and Paulo Seligsohn of Chesterfield. He is the grandson of Albina and the late Luther Billington of Plainview, Texas and Patricia and the late Cecil Gray of Marietta, Ga. 

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Parkway Central High School and currently is enrolled as a fifth-year medical student at University of Missouri-Kansas City’s six-year medical program, pursuing her B.A. and M.D. degrees. 

Her fiancé is a 2008 graduate of Lee’s Summit North and is also in his fifth-year of UMKC’s 6-year medical program, pursuing his B.A. and M.D. degrees. 

The couple met in August, 2008 at freshman orientation when they were assigned seats next to one another. They have been inseparable ever since. They were engaged on Kevin’s 23rd birthday in the presence of Emily’s family. 

A May, 2014 wedding is planned.
