Lindsay Diane Jakul, daughter of Leslee Rubin-Jakul and John Jakul of Creve Coeur and David Charles Minner, son of Mary Zagarri Minner and David Minner of Creve Coeur, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Leatrice and the late Sidney Rubin of Creve Coeur, and Shirley and John Jakul. He is the grandson of the late Charles and the late Catherine Zagarri and Delberta Minner.

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Parkway North High School and received her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2007. She is currently a store operations associate at Build-A-Bear Workshop headquarters.

Her fiancé is a 2002 graduate of Vianney High School in 2002 and received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Southeast Missouri State University in 2006 as well as his master’s in health management from Lindenwood University in 2009. He is currently a personal trainer at the Jewish Community Center.

A May, 2011 wedding is planned.
