HOFFMAN/PELLENBERG WEDDING

Abigail Weil Hoffman, daughter of Robert and Susan Hoffman of St. Louis and Rod Evan Pellenberg, son of Art and Sherry Pellenberg of Houston, Texas were married April 17, 2010 at the Saint Louis Club, where Rabbi Howard Kaplansky and Brigitte Rosenberg officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the Saint Louis Club.
The bride is a graduate of Parkway Central High School, Tulane University and Tulane School of Medicine, and she is currently a general surgery resident doing research in surgical oncology at Duke University.
Her husband is a graduate from Duke University and Tulane School of Medicine and is currently a pediatric cardiology fellow at Duke University.
The bride chose Emily Berg, of Chicago, sister of the bride, as her matron of honor. Sidni Feldman of Chicago was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sisters, Maggie Hoffman, of New York, Lindsay Perez of Chicago and Lisa Deutch of Chicago, as well as her cousin, Kaie Ross of Washington D.C., along with Katie Roberts of Houston and Megan Westbrook of Seattle. Flower girls were the bride’s niece, Annabel Berk of Chicago, along with Gracie and Sophie Halperin of Houston.
The groom chose his brother, Blake Pellenberg of Los Angeles, as best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s cousin, Chase Erlich of Houston, the groom’s brother-in-law, Mark Levy of Austin along with Craig Denlinger of Memphis, Tenn.; Blake Eltis of Dallas; Michael Reader of Jacksonville, Fla.; Brian Whittaker of Charlottesville, Va.; and Robyn Goldstein of Houston. Ushers were Alex Elsik and Gary Justice. The ring bearers were Simon Berk of Chicago, nephew of the bride, and Benjamin Levy of Austin, nephew of the groom.
Following a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Durham, North Carolina.
