Margaret (Maggie) Weil Hoffman, daughter of Robert and Susan Hoffman of St. Louis, and Frank Joseph Gerold, son of Frank William Gerold and Janet Mary Gerold of Houston, Texas, have announced their engagement.  

The bride-to-be’s grandparents are Henry and the late Shirley Ross, Gay Hirsch of St. Louis and the late Marjorie Hoffman Young and the late Orren Hoffman of Cincinnati, Ohio. 

His grandparents are Theresa Green and the late John R. Green of San Antonio, the late Dr. Frank P. Gerold and the late Patricia Gerold of New York. 

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Texas-Austin. She currently works in New York, N.Y. as executive assistant to the senior vice-president of the Home Collection of Ralph Lauren Corporation. 

Her fiancé earned a  bachelor of arts degree from the University of Texas-Austin and an M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He is currently in his fourth-year residency of Orthopedic Surgery at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York, N.Y. 

An April, 2014 wedding is planned.
