Chloe Patricia Hamm, daughter of Dr. Richard and Michelle Hamm of Freeburg, Ill., and Andrew Benjamin Schechter, son of Karen Schechter and Mark Schechter of St. Louis, have announced their engagement.

Chloe is the granddaughter of Jim and Patricia Rotramel of Freeburg and the late Benjamin and the late Marion Hamm of O’Fallon, Ill. Andrew is the grandson of Shirley and the late Lawrence Schermer, Marcia Schechter, and Theodore Schechter and Ellen Watkins, all of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be earned her bachelor of social work degree from Southeast Missouri State and is currently working as a social worker while also pursuing her master’s degree in social work at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Her fiancé earned his master of accountancy degree from Truman State University. A CPA, Andrew is working as controller at Sherpa.

A September, 2017 wedding is planned.
