Jamie Gold, daughter of Joan Gold of Chesterfield and Robert Gold of Creve Coeur, and Lucas Tanen, son of Norman and Ilene Tanen of Redding, Conn., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Raymond and Bernice Marcus of Creve Coeur and the late Milton and the late Sadie Gold of St. Louis.

He is the grandson of Harriet and the late David Cohn of Massapequa Park, New York and the late Alfred and the late Lean Tanen of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The bride-to-be received her B.A. in telecommunications from Indiana University and a master’s degree in education from DePaul University in Chicago. She is currently student teaching in Chicago.

Her fiancé received his B.A. in communications from Northwestern University and is currently pursuing a master’s of business administration at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. His is currently employed as the director of the Chicago Innovation Awards.

A July, 2012 wedding is planned.
