GLASSMAN-FLANDERS WEDDING

Elizabeth Nicole Glassman, daughter of Debra and Richard Glassman of West Hartford, Conn. and Craig Matthew Flanders, son of Hillary and Marc Flanders of Chesterfield, were married May 1, 2010 at Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford, where Rabbi Michael Pincus officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at Tumble Brook Country Club.

She is the granddaughter of Shirley and the late Arnold Marhalin, Norma and Dr. George Glassman. He is the grandson of the late Rhoda and the late Saul Fallick and the late Eleanor and the late Robert Flanders.

Bridesmaids were Ali Rosenberg, cousin of the bride, Alicia Fanuel, Sarah Hoffman, Marissa Kirshenbaum, Betsy Fischman, Ingrid Kvam and Collen Shortell – all friends of the bride.

The groom chose his brother, David Flanders, as best man. Groomsmen were friends Andrew Freedman, Jason Glazer, Jeff Kanterman, Ian Kleinfield, Andrew May, Russell Mollen and Ben Siegel. Ushers were Ben Glassman and Andrew Glassman – both cousins of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Tufts University and a 2008 graduate of Washington University School of Law.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin and a 2008 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Law.

Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in New York City.
