Furfines celebrate 60th anniversary

Carolyn and Chuck Furfine recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a cruise to Alaska. They were accompanied by their children and grandchildren. Carolyn and Chuck are pictured here in front of the Hubbard Glazier and with their family on the cruise.
Carolyn and Chuck were married at Shaare Zedek Synagogue in University City after she finished two years at Washington University and Chuck was working on his doctorate in biochemistry. Upon completion, they moved to Hartsdale, N.Y., where Chuck was on the faculty of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine followed being on the faculty of Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Chuck finished his career with the Food and Drug Administration.
While living in D.C./Maryland, Carolyn received her degree from Georgetown University. Carolyn held various positions at IBM including Systems Engineering and line management.
They have two sons, Eric and Earl. Eric is a biotechnology company executive and lives in the Boston area. Earl is a serial entrepreneur living in Washington, D.C.
