Laura Ruth Fry, daughter of John and Jocelyn Fry of Leawood, Kan. and Adam Gregory Satz, son of Larry and Carolyn Satz of Town and Country, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Gloria and the late Alvin Fry of Overland Park, Kan., formerly of St. Louis, Peggy Moser of St. Louis, and Warren Moser of Greensboro, Ga. He is the grandson of Paul and the late Esther Satz of St. Louis and the late Becky and the late Irvin Alper of St. Louis and Ruth Novack Alper.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Colorado State University where she earned her B.S. in education, and received her master’s in curriculum and instruction from Baker University. She is currently a first grade teacher in Kansas City, Mo.

Her fiancé is a graduate of the University of Colorado – Boulder where he received his B.S. in journalism. He is currently employed in sales for New Belgium Brewing Co.

A June, 2012 wedding is planned.
