FRIEDMAN-TASMAN ENGAGEMENT

Emily Tamara Friedman of Washington, D.C., daughter of Alan and Maxine Friedman of Chesterfield, and Jamie Adam Tasman of Washington, D.C., son of Maury and Lynn Tasman of Louisville, Ky., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of the late Irving and the late Esther Friedman of St. Louis and the late Dr. George and the late Mildred Charnas of Detroit, Mich.

He is the grandson of the late Herbert and Ruth Goltz of Southbend, Ind. and the late Irving and Ruby Tasman of Louisville, Ky.

The bride-to-be received her B.S. degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and received her J.D. from the University of Miami in Coral Gables. She is currently an attorney with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Her fiancé received his B.S. degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. He is currently a cloud computing solutions architect for IBM Software Group.

An August, 2011 wedding is planned.
