Rachael Cassandra Freeman and Scott Richard Bernstein have announced their engagement. 

Rachael is the daughter of Mary Collins and Vince Freeman, both of Nashville, Tenn. Scott is the son of Mark and Barbara Bernstein of Chesterfield. He is the grandson of Sam Bernstein of Bonita Springs, Fla., and the late Ruth Bernstein of St. Louis; Robert Feldman of Rio Rancho, N.M., and the late Beverly Feldman of St. Louis.

Rachael is a claims processor for United Health Care Group. Scott works in sales for the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. 

Scott proposed to Rachael in Rome, Italy. A 2020 wedding is planned.
