Melissa Anne Fragoso, daughter of Juan and Carmen Fragoso of Naperville, Ill., and Michael Irving Musgrove, son of Bill and Jamie Dubinsky Musgrove of Ballwin, are pleased to announce their engagement. 

She is the granddaughter of Socorro and Sebastian Fragoso and Ramona and Francisco Oria of Chicago, Ill. He is the grandson of Joy Lending (Sidney Katz) of Creve Coeur, the late Irvin Dubinsky (Donna Dubinsky) of Creve Coeur, and the late Harry and Marie Musgrove of St. Louis. 

The bride-to-be earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is currently a kindergarten teacher in Champaign. Her fiancé earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After working as a geotechnical engineer for two years, he is currently a Ph.D. candidate in civil engineering at the university. The couple met during their first week of college.

A June, 2015 wedding is planned.
