FOWLE-DIXON ENGAGEMENT

Rachel Elisabeth Fowle, daughter of Irene Fowle and the late Frank F. Fowle III of St. Louis and Jesse Evan Dixon, son of Amy Dixon and the late Stephan Dixon of Los Angeles, Calif. have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of Mary Zorensky and the late Louis Zorensky of St. Louis and the late Elisabeth Fowle and the late Frank F. Fowle II of Winnetka, Ill.
He is the grandson of Audrey Morin and the late Robert Morin of Somis, Calif. and the late Connie Christie and Hadley Dixon of San Francisco, Calif.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of John Burroughs and Tufts University, where she earned a B.A. degree in child development and classical studies. She is also a graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she earned an Ed.M. degree in language and literacy. She is currently a first grade teacher.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and Fordham University, where he earned a B.A. degree in sociology and philosophy. He is also a graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he earned an Ed.M. degree in education policy and management. He currently works at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in the Division for District and School Intervention.
A May, 2011 wedding is planned.
