Leslie Abigail Fogel, daughter of Roger and Joan Fogel of Overland Park, Kan. and Daniel A. Vianello, son of Marc and Michelle Vianello of Prairie Village, Kan. and Judy and Jim Stoddard of Kansas City, Mo. have announced their engagement. 

The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy in Overland Park, and a 2007 graduate of Rice University in Houston, where she received her B.S. in biochemistry and cell biology. She is currently an M.D./Ph.D. candidate at Washington University in St. Louis.

Her fiancé is a 2001 graduate of Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, Mo., St. Louis University, where he received his B.S. in electrical engineering in 2005 and Washington University, where he received his M.S. in electrical engineering in 2009. He is currently a Software Systems Engineer at Emdeon, Inc. in Earth City.

A February, 2011 wedding is planned.
