Rebecca Feldman and Ryan Moran have announced their engagement. 

Rebecca is the daughter of Gary and Nancy Feldman of St. Louis, and the granddaughter of the late Irvin and Marcella Feldman, and the late Harold and Sarah Levin, all of St Louis.

Ryan is the son of Tom and Barb Moran, and the grandson of the late John and Betty Moran, and the late Emory and Therese Yager, all of Rock Island, Ill.

Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University Bloomington, and her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Washington University in St Louis. Ryan received his undergraduate degree from University of Iowa, and master’s degree in kinesiology from Purdue University. 

The bride and groom met after a mutual friend created the setup. A few weeks of texting were exchanged, a first date was planned, and the rest is history. On Feb. 16, 2019, Ryan surprised Rebecca by traveling down from Chicago to St. Louis while she was there (she thought he had to work) and proposed at her aunt and uncle’s house, while friends and family waited upstairs. After Rebecca said yes, friends and family came down to celebrate with the newly engaged couple.

A June 2020 wedding is planned.
