FEIT-SCHWERIN WEDDING

Michelle Gayle Feit, daughter of Dr. Steven Feit and Mrs. Marcia Feit of St. Louis, and Matthew Ellis Schwerin, son of Mr. James Schwerin and Mrs. Fredrika Schwerin of Princeton, N.J. were married Sept. 10, 2011 at the St. Louis Frontenac Hilton, where Rabbi James Bennett officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony.

She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. Gerald Feit and the late Viola Feit, and Mr. Seymour Raiffie and the late Yetta Raiffie, all of St. Louis.

He is the grandson of the late Charles Schwerin and Mrs. Muriel Schwerin and the late Hy Glantz and Mrs. Hilly Glantz. The bride chose her sister, Stephanie Feit as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Julie Feit, cousin of the bride, Lindsey Goldstein and Courtney Tygesson, both law school friends, and Elana Goldsmith and Julie Kagan, both friends of the bride. The groom chose his brother, Alex Schwerin as his best man. Groomsmen were his brother, David Schwerin, Jeremy Feit, his brother-in-law, Michael Kaufman, college friend of the groom, Mathew Maley and Ian Theodoridis, both high school friends of the groom. Ushers were Amy Glick, Ross Glick and Kari Friedman, all cousins of the bride. The bride received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Tulane University and her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. She is currently an attorney with Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan, P.C. The groom received his Bachelor’s degree in business management from Tulane University and his Master’s in Accounting from Tulane University. He is currently a C.P.A. for Ameren Corporation. After an upcoming wedding trip to South America, the couple resides in St. Louis, Missouri.
