Marcie Beth Epstein, daughter of Karen and Gary Epstein of Creve Coeur and David Siteman Garland, son of Nancy Siteman of Creve Coeur and Randy Garland of Clayton have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of the late Beatrice Vitner Stein and the late Saul D. Stein of Atlanta, Ga. and Cookie and Ed Epstein of Frontenac. He is the grandson of Ruth and Alvin Siteman of Ladue and Arlene Garland and the late Otis Garland of Creve Coeur.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway North High School and The University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree and Doctor of Medicine degree. She is currently in her second year of Psychiatry Residency at Washington University, Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Her fiancé is a graduate of Mary Institute and Country Day School and Washington University, where he earned a B.A. degree in women’s studies. He is the Founder and Host of “The Rise To The Top” TV Program on ABC and online. He is also an entrepreneur, author and speaker.

A March, 2011 wedding is planned.
