Lindsay Cohen, daughter of Sharon and Dennis Cohen of St. Louis, and David Schneider, son of Eileen Schneider Edelman and the late Stephen J. Schneider of St. Louis, have announced their engagement.  

The bride-to-be earned her law and business degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a trademark attorney at the law firm of Bryan Cave LLP. Her fiancé earned his business degree, majoring in computer information systems, from Drake University. He works as an information security officer for Wells Fargo Advisors. They both graduated from Parkway Central High School.  

The couple met at the J Associates Mitzvah Star luncheon, which was held in the same room where Lindsay’s parents first met 45 years earlier (at the Jewish Community Center).  David proposed at sunset on Lindsay’s birthday, while the couple was aboard a European cruise.   

 A summer 2016 wedding is planned.
