Nadene Cherry, daughter of Robyn and Don Cherry of Town and Country, and Elliot Pessis, son of Michelle and Paul Pessis of Deerfield, Ill. have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Norma and Marvin Cherry of St. Louis and Jack and Harriet Dickson of Canton, Ohio and the late Nadene Dickson.

He is the grandson of the late Marion and Harold Goodman and the late Esther and Benjamin Pessis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and Kelley School of Business-Indiana University. She is currently executive portfolio manager of CDW in Chicago.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Highland Park High School and Kelley School of Business-Indiana University. He is currently portfolio manager at Harrison Street Real Estate Capital.

A September, 2011 wedding is planned.
