Chappell-Serrano, Jr. Engagement

 Laura Elizabeth Chappell, daughter of Robert and Sherry Chappell of Littleton, Colo., and Arturo Serrano, Jr., son of Arturo and Araceli Serrano of Rio Rico, Ariz., have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Robert and Adelaide Bean of St. Louis and the late Elliot and Mobie Chappell of Minden, Neb. Her fiancé is the grandson of Guadalupe Monreal and the late Antonio Monreal of Nogales, Ariz. and Maria Serrano and the late Felix Serrano of Rio Rico, Ariz.

The bride-to-be earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration at the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona and is currently earning her masters degree in legal administration at the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver. She currently works in Tuscon, Ariz. as a legal assistant at Whitehill Law Offices, P.C.

Her fiancé currently works in Tucson, Ariz. as a demilitarization and material recovery operator and logistics specialist at HVF West, LLC.

An October, 2014 wedding is planned.
