David-Leshikar

Meta David, daughter of George and Sandra David of Augusta, Ga., and Ross Leshikar, son of Herb and Lynn Marlow of Ben Wheeler, Texas, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Robert and Dorothy Kohen of Creve Coeur and the late Geary and the late Victoria David of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in business (marketing). Her fianc é is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. He is currently a reliability engineer. A wedding is planned for this month.

Barr-Manning

Michelle Ellen Barr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Barr of Chesterfield and Mrs. Margaret Hale of St. Louis, and Steven Allen Manning, son of Dr. and Mrs. Dennis Manning of Deerfield, Ill., and Mrs. Gail Manning of Hollywood, Fla., were married April 8, 2006, at Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield, Ill. A wedding reception followed the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of St. Louis University and Jewish Hospital School of Nursing and is working as a pediatric nurse in Chicago.

The groom is a graduate of Tulane University and is working as a trader in Chicago. Following a wedding trip to Florida, the couple resides in Evanston, Ill.

Silberman-Fagin

Abbey Elisabeth Silberman, daughter of Dottie and Alan Silberman of Steubenville, Ohio, and Kenneth Michael Fagin, son of Doris and Stan Fagin of Creve Coeur, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Mildred Levison and the late Edward Levison of Zanesville, Ohio, and the late Edith and Philip Silberman of Steubenville, Ohio.

He is the grandson of the late Esther and Meyer Roudman of St. Louis, and Betty Fagin and the late Joe Fagin of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Mount de Chantal Academy in Wheeling, W.Va., and Brown University, where she earned an A.B. degree in religious studies. She is currently senior director of development at American University in Washington.

Her fiance is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned an S.B. degree in aeronautics and astronautics, and Washington University School of Law, where he earned a J.D. degree. He is currently a patent attorney in Washington.

A June wedding is planned.
