Candace Carlberg and Daniel Kootman have announced their engagement. Candace is the daughter of Carol Carlberg-Snyder of Los Angeles and the late Michael Carlberg of St. Louis. Daniel is the son of Michael and Debbie Kootman of Town and Country. 

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Orville and Helen Fitzgerald of St. Louis and the late Byron and Kesano Carlberg of Decatur, Ill. Her fiancé is the grandson of Florence Kootman and the late Philip Kootman of Chesterfield, the late Beverly Rosen of St. Louis, and Joyce Rosen and the late Harold Rosen of St. Louis.

Candace received a B.S. HES Architectural Studies with an emphasis on interior design from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is currently an interior designer at Spellman Brady and Company. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is currently Operations Manager at Branch Metal Processing.

An April 2017 wedding is planned.
