Melissa Amy Brown, daughter of Joan and Steven J. Brown of St. Louis, and Max Klupchak, son of Richard J. Klupchak and the late Cindy Klupchak, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Edie and Harvey Brown of St. Louis and Donald and Fanchon Kanter of Boca Raton, Fla.

He is the grandson of Delores Klupchak of Chicago, Ill.

The bride-to-be received her B.A. in communications from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2008 and works in medical advertising in Chicago.

Her fiancé received his B.A. in political science from the University of Wisconsin -Madison in 2006 and his J.D. from Emory University in 2010. He is currently an attorney with Ropes and Gray, L.L.P in Chicago.

A June, 2012 wedding is planned.
