BRANDVEIN-SPECTOR WEDDING

Rachel Jean Brandvein, daughter of Teri and Harvey Brandvein of Chesterfield, and Jeffrey Michael Spector, son of Beverly and the late Carl Spector of Chesterfield, were married May 29, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown St. Louis at the Arch, where Rabbi Andrea Goldstein and Rabbi Saul Grife (cousin of the bride) officiated. A wedding reception followed the ceremony.
She is the granddaughter of Judy and John Brandvein and Helyn and Morris Kevrick, all of St. Louis. He is the grandson of Ethel and Leo Newman of St. Louis and the late Miriam and the late Milton Spector.
The bride chose her sister, Jessica Brandvein, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Molly Hoffman, Jamie Gold, Nicole Mervis, Ashley Demoff, and Lindsay Kushner, all friends of the bride and Amanda Starwalt, sister of the groom and Sophie Kiem, cousin of the bride.
The groom chose his friend, Timothy Breckenridge, as his best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Babitz, Jonathan Paull, Michael Kleban, Jonathan Grant and Shane Kupperman, all friends of the groom, and Josh Starwalt, brother-in-law of the groom, and Adam Brandvein, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Brian Spector and Stuart Schneider, both uncles of the groom and Evan Bricker, friend of the groom and Brian Palans, friend of the bride and groom.
The bride received her B.S. in general studies from Indiana University-Bloomington and is currently obtaining her master’s degree from Lindenwood University in education.
Her husband received his B.S. in kinesiology from Indiana University-Bloomington and his J.D. from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He is currently an associate attorney with Kozeny and McCubbin.
Following a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Chesterfield.
