Jessica Leigh Brandvein, of Houston, Texas, daughter of Teri and Harvey Brandvein of Chesterfield and Brian Paul Palans of Houston, Texas, son of Karen and David Palans of San Antonio, have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Judy and John Brandvein of St. Louis and Helyn and Morris Kevrick of St. Louis. He is the grandson of Judy and Seymour Palans of San Antonio and the late Eileen and Leon Krandel of Houston.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School in Chesterfield and earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University-Bloomington. She is currently an Occupation-Patient Care Coordinator for Home Health Professionals in Houston.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University-Bloomington. He is currently Commodities Trader in Houston, Texas.

A November, 2013 wedding is planned.
